What's the best time of day for photos in Venice?
Sunrise (6-7 AM) is magical — empty streets, soft golden light, and Venice all to yourself. It’s my top recommendation for any session. Golden hour (1 hour before sunset) offers warm, cinematic tones. I’ll suggest the optimal timing based on your chosen locations and the season of your visit.
I've never done a professional photoshoot — will it feel awkward?
Not at all! Most of my clients say the same thing beforehand, and every single one relaxes within the first 5 minutes. I don’t do stiff, forced poses. Instead, I guide you through natural movements — walking, laughing, looking at each other — and capture genuine moments. You’ll forget the camera is there.
Can you photograph families or groups, not just couples?
Absolutely! While many of my clients are couples, I regularly photograph families, friends, solo travelers, and small groups. Venice is a beautiful backdrop for any type of session. I’ll adapt the pace and style to fit your group perfectly.
How do you choose the locations and route?
Based on your session length, time of day, and preferences, I create a personalized route that maximizes variety and beauty while minimizing crowded areas. I know Venice intimately — hidden bridges, secret canals, and the exact angles where the light is perfect at any given hour. You’ll visit spots most tourists never discover.
How fast will we receive the photos?
You’ll receive 2-3 preview images within 24 hours — perfect for sharing on social media or with family! The full professionally edited gallery (30-100 photos depending on package) is delivered within 5 working days via a private online download link.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain can actually create stunning, atmospheric photos — reflections, moody canals, and Venice at its most cinematic. For heavy rain, we’ll reschedule or adjust timing if your travel plans allow. I monitor weather forecasts closely and will contact you 48 hours before to discuss options. I always have beautiful covered backup locations ready.
